Palazzo Sturm, finally restored in all its parts, proposes the 214 Dürer collected by the Remondini. This is one of the two most important collections in the world of engravings by the German master.
For the first time ever, the Remondini collection presents the complete graphic treasure of Albrecht Dürer (1471-1528), part of the Bassano museum collection. A corpus of 214 engravings which, in terms of size and quality, is classified as the most important and complete corpus of engravings in the world, together with the one in the Albertina Museum in Vienna.
The City of Bassano del Grappa has chosen this extraordinary tribute to the genius of Dürer to celebrate the reopening of Palazzo Sturm, at the end of the last restoration campaign that has fully returned to the visits the magnificent jewel of architecture and art, ideal location for the exhibition of graphic works by Albrecht Dürer.
