“Aldo Rossi e la Ragione. Architetture 1967-1997”
June 1 - September 29
Twenty years after his death, an exhibition celebrates Aldo Rossi, internationally recognized as one of the most significant masters of contemporary architecture. His studies and theoretical writings, his projects and his works in different parts of the world continue to mark an essential starting point for research into architecture, as well as the many critical publications and writings of scholars and architects confirm the relevance of his figure.
The exhibition, organized in collaboration with the Aldo Rossi Foundation and the Association of Architecture, is curated by Chiara Spangaro, Cinzia Simioni and Alessandro Tognon and offers a selected chronology of two hundred works (drawings and models) for sixty projects, with an in-depth examination of four specific projects: the Cemetery of San Cataldo, the Teatro del Mondo, the City Hall of Borgoricco and the Hotel Il Palazzo di Fukuoka.
